Long working days and evenings & weekends spent with his young family, understandably meant that J’s fitness and training had taken a back seat over the years.
J got to the stage where he didn’t feel as healthy as he wanted, his t-shirts started to feel tight, and he missed how fit and good he felt during his younger rowing days. He decided it was time to do something about it.
Due to a move abroad, J worked with Martin online for a period of 3 months, and dropped 10 kilos of body fat in 12 weeks, whilst building muscle, improving his physique and getting fit.
The key to J’s impressive transformation was down to a few subtle changes rather than a big overhaul. He woke up early so he could train before work, and that set him up for the day ahead. He felt energised, and the early sessions influenced the food he ate for the rest of the day. His training schedule meant he could still prioritise family time in the evening.
The timeframe, and goals set out, gave J something to aim at and meant he became more aware of what he was eating. He got himself organised, into a routine and prioritised eating meats, fish, and vegetables. He also had leeway to enjoy meals out with his family, especially pizza, which is a favourite.
The results J achieved with online personal training are identical to those you’d expect from in-gym personal training. J felt the coaching relationship he had with Martin was important to achieving his goals.
